It has been a week since I came home from the bi-annual trade shows in Vegas, and I think I am finally back to normal. To say that these trips are exhausting is an understatement – luckily I get through it by maintaining a steady inspiration high!
Magic covered all of the trendiest, fast-fashion looks while Project pushed us all the way out to Spring, and in some cases, Summer 2014!
Let’s skip Fall and see what we’ll be seeing in stores 2 seasons from now:
Tribal prints and tie dye’s are alive through next year but updated in bold black/white motifs with pop colors used only in the details, like embroidery and contrast piping.
Sexy cut outs and matching top/bottom sets
Given all of the casual and athletic influences in sportswear, the graphic tee lines at the Pool show served at the perfect compliment. Lines like Too Ugly for LA and Hips and Hair had the perfect amounts of kitsch and edge.
Project also had some of the most gorgeous floor displays. Sparked some major home decor fantasizing!
And last but never least, food trucks were parked in between the tents to save me from my usual bloat-inducing casino fare. Much appreciated!
